Purpose
Responsible for leading a sales team to identify and qualify sales opportunities to achieve assigned growth and target objectives. You will coach team on a regular basis to cover the market as well as maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
1. Management of a team of Business Development representatives as part of the responsibility for driving bookings and revenue within the assigned Territory
2. Coach and develop each member of the team to stretch and grow professionally in alignment with their development plan.
3. Consistent attainment of all revenue and booking targets within assigned territory, per targets based on position referenced above
4. Coordination of resources within sales and other departments to reach goals
5. Maintain and update sales plans, account and opportunity data within company systems as directed
6. Provide valuable insights and feedback to company leadership, influencing overall business strategy.
7. Track and report on team performance, providing data informed insights and recommendations to senior leadership to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in business planning and managing headcount.
2. Demonstrated consistent track record in exceeding targets
3. Identifying and providing analytics to Sales Leadership
4. Experience selling into life sciences industry
5. Successful team motivator
Preferred but not required
1. 5 years of experience in similar role
2. Prior experience working with data analytics services
