OVERVIEW

The Analytics Engineering division seeks a dynamic and results-oriented leader to spearhead the strategic growth and business consulting efforts for our Data Sciences and Statistical computing product operating model. This unique role combines strategic leadership with hands-on business consulting expertise in the Life Sciences industry. You will be responsible for driving new business opportunities through collaboration with Sales and product teams while also leading client engagements focused on system implementations and business consulting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy & Growth

o Lead growth and capabilities by driving new opportunities that solve customer challenges and needs, and partner with sales to close the deals.

o Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the data sciences and statistical computing space within the life sciences industry.

o Work collaboratively to close deals and secure new clients, driving revenue growth.

o Provide business and technology guidance to the engineering in support of market dynamics

o Build strong and trusted relationship with customers and partners, serving as a primary contact for strategic and tactical questions

  • Business Consulting

    • o Lead client engagements focused on maximizing the value of our product, partner products, and open-source technologies.

    o Consult with Operations and IT leaders to understand their strategic goals and challenges.

    o Develop and implement business consulting solutions for value realization, organizational change management, system architecture and optimization, process development, and system governance.

    o Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring successful project delivery.

    o Foster strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 8 years of experience in product strategy, business development, and / or business consulting within the data sciences or related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing deals and driving new business growth (commission-based experience a plus).
  • Demonstrated expertise in business process optimization, change management, and system architecture within the life sciences industry.

    • TECHNICAL AND DOMAIN SKILLS

  • Experience with data sciences and statistical computing products
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
  • Understanding financial metrics and building financial models to assess the value proposition of proposed solutions.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to understand market trends and competitor offerings.
  • Ability to quantify the potential impact and value with strategies and consulting engagements.

    • LEADERSHIP

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A strong track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, fostering trust, and exceeding expectations.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams (sales, product, services, IT) to achieve common goals.
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex business challenges and develop creative solutions.
  • Experience managing projects on time and within budget.
