We are a fast-growing brand looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Production Manager to join our team and oversee daily operations at our facility in Moorpark, CA.
Position SummaryThe Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production, inventory, and operational logistics of our facility. This role ensures that all production runs smoothly, inventory is well-managed, and our products meet the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of alcohol production and a strong ability to manage operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Production Oversight: Lead all aspects of the production process, including batching, bottling, labeling, and packaging.
- Facility Management: Ensure the facility is running efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
- Inventory Control: Manage raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods inventory to optimize production and minimize waste.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine production workflows, improve efficiencies, and reduce costs while maintaining quality.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Plan and oversee production schedules to meet demand, working closely with sales and supply chain teams.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all federal (TTB), state, and local alcohol production regulations, as well as workplace safety standards.
- Seasonal Programs: Support the development and execution of seasonal flavor programs and limited releases.
- Facility Operations: Maintain equipment, coordinate necessary repairs, and manage vendor relationships for operational needs.
- Logistics & Shipping: Oversee outbound shipping, including distributor orders, direct fulfillment, and event logistics.
- Budgeting & Invoicing: Manage production budgets, track costs, and handle purchasing and invoicing for raw materials and supplies.
- Technology Integration: Use production software and systems to track inventory, production runs, and quality control metrics.
- Event Support: Assist with Atōst activations, trade events, and brand experiences as needed.
- Must have alcohol production experience, preferably in spirits, wine, or aperitifs.
- Strong understanding of alcohol compliance, TTB regulations, and production best practices.
- Experience managing inventory, supply chains, and production schedules.
- Hands-on experience in a production facility, with an ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and basic Microsoft Office tools.
