We are seeking an Assembly Technician for a very important client.
Performs complex nonstandard production assembly on developmental prototype and production electronic and mechanical systems and sub systems.
Works from diagrams, drawings and wiring lists, using hand or power tools.
Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble and test as required.
Complete all documentation related to work performed as required by work instruction.
Obtain and maintain NASA certifications.
Read, understand and adhere to procedures and polices with attention to detail.
Read, understand, and follow Maxar Quality policies and ISO 9000 directives.
Continuously monitoring assembly processes for potential improvements.
Willing to work occasional overtime as required during critical periods.
The ideal candidate will possess the following :
- Hybrid between test / RF / electrical
- Soldering experience; NASA soldering preferred
- Rigid cable coax
- Bench level, not systems level
