We are seeking a Graphic Designer for the largest medical device company!
Job Title: Graphic Designer
Type: Contract -12 Months
Pay: $27.76/hr
Day Shift
Location: 6165 Gunbarrel Ave, Boulder, CO
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for designing and creating packaging and product artwork for supporting the manufacturing requirements for all products produced by the Boulder Packaging & Labeling Operations Innovation Group. Must incorporate customer requirements and ensure standardization of artwork development in compliance with Medtronic design standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the graphic design requirements for packaging and product artwork, including the production of labels, lidstock, and display box artwork; support for formal artwork approvals; and maintenance of packaging labeling development procedures.
• Verifies vendor proofs, makes corrections, or communicates changes to ensure all printed components match approved artwork files.
• Effectively manages multiple projects, changes in project scope, and shifting priorities in order to maintain project requirements and ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborates with department and cross-functional peers to ensure proper resolution to questions and issues that arise during the artwork development process.
Education Required: Four-Year College Degree

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient with design software, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in using MAC Operating Systems
• Ability to work with department peers and middle-management within the marketing, engineering, and manufacturing functional groups.
EXPERIENCE:
• Significant previous experience in graphic design production.
• Experience in the development of labeling for the medical device industry preferred.
