What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Design Engineer III position at ATR International?
We are seeking a Product Design Engineer III for a very important client.
Candidate will provide design support for client's products including :
- Using 2D and 3D CAD to communicate design intent, inspection requirements, and test methods
- Developing deep technical knowledge in areas outside your realm of expertise to understand other teams' design constraints and craft creative solutions to technical problems
- Collaborating with outside vendors and internal manufacturing experts to optimize designs for function, aesthetic, and manufacturability
- Some of the skills we exercise and develop regularly : tolerance and stress analysis, electro-mechanical integration, design for high volume manufacturability and assembly, prototyping, failure analysis, simple fixture design, metrology, statistical process control
Duties :
You will be working with many internal teams and contract partners, leading package integration and architecture efforts You will demonstrate creativity in problem solving, ability to think dynamically and outside of standard convention, and adapt quickly to new technical areas We promote innovation and new technology to further improve Apple's hardware performance and user experience.
