Sr. UI Programmer to develop and maintain Insurance applications

Primary duties & responsibilities consist of :

  • Collaborate with internal clients, managers, and developers in a team environment.
  • Execute projects from initial concept through delivery.
  • Application design and development.
  • Assist in troubleshooting of final code.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required :

  • User interface design and development
  • WPF with MvvM
  • ASP.Net MVC
  • Web UI (HTML 5, CSS3, jQuery, LESS, KnockOut, Bootstrap, AngularJS)
  • Rules-based development
  • Object-oriented design and programming
  • Common building blocks and design patterns
  • Problem-solving algorithms

    • Strongly Preferred :

  • Prism, caliburn.micro, or other WPF framework

    • Other nice to have experience :

  • NCalc
  • Automated Testing
  • Refactoring
  • Insurance Industry

    • Contract to Permanent (C2P) opportunity.

    6m contract to hire.

    Qualifications

    Education & Work Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of .net and database experience required.
