Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and internal communications.
- Process outgoing mail and packages with postage.
- Fill out and complete all tracking of incoming and outgoing certified/insurable mail and courier packages for signature and proof of receipt.
- Investigate “mystery” mail and determine proper distribution.
- Identify suspicious mail, and notify supervisor in order to determine proper handling or distribution.
- Assist individual departments as necessary with preparation of mail, courier services and other projects.
- Provide daily service to replenish copier paper, copier supplies and other office supplies for each copy/mail room on all support center floors.
- Provide back-up switchboard coverage as needed.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office and Excel recommended
- Knowledge of postage equipment and UPS scales
- Able to learn technology related specifically to mailing and shipping are required.
- Able to be cross-trained in all aspects of the Mail Center operations.
