DIRECTOR OF OBSTETRICS

Job Summary: Responsible for nursing services in the OB department, overseeing personnel and providing direct patient care in maternity and newborn settings. Key duties include managing OB triage, intake, operating room, LDRP unit, and post-partum home health services. Ensures high-quality, cost-effective services and participates in performance improvement and budget management.

Minimum Qualifications

• BSN required; MS preferred.
• Current Iowa nursing license in good standing.
• 5 years hospital experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE certifications.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and critical thinking abilities.
