Location: Sussex Campus Hospital

Status: Full Time 80 Hours

Shift: Day / Night

Salary Range: $32.64 - $53.34 Hourly

General Summary

Perform direct patient cardiac diagnostic testing with skill and timeliness, adhering to care standards. Provide age-specific care and serve as a resource to medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct echocardiogram studies and other cardiac diagnostics.
• Administer IV contrast and perform agitated saline bubble studies.
• Utilize mechanical devices for diagnostics.
• Manage hospital information systems for scheduling and charging.
• Implement infection control practices.
• Guide students from contracted colleges.
• Follow age-specific guidelines for tests.
  
  

Required: High School Diploma, Basic Life Support, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, and 2 years of echocardiography experience. Preferred: Certificate in Cardiovascular Sonography and extensive hospital experience.
