Responsibilities

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric care in a primary care clinic, diagnosing and treating complex mental health conditions. Responsibilities include:

• Direct patient care, developing treatment plans, and managing health issues.
• Collaborating with medical and mental health providers for comprehensive patient care.
• Utilizing evidence-based guidelines and team-based care models.
• Maintaining accurate electronic health records and timely documentation.
• Advocating for patients and coordinating care within the healthcare system.
  
  

Experience with low-income populations and strong customer service skills are preferred. A minimum of three years in a primary care setting and relevant certifications are required.
