Wound Care/Infection Control Nurse/RN

Duties

Wound Care/Infection Control Nurse/RN responsible for managing nursing services and ensuring quality care for residents. Works with the Director of Nursing for 24-hour supervision and clinical operations in their absence. Duties include:

• Coordinating resident care plans per physician orders and regulations.
• Communicating policies to staff and monitoring practices.
• Participating in admissions and management meetings.
• Ensuring quality care and compliance with clinical standards.
• Implementing infection control programs and monitoring trends.
• Conducting competency testing for nursing personnel.
• Preparing staff for inspections and addressing complaints.
  
  

Qualifications: RN license, nursing degree, 5 years healthcare experience preferred, 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
