Food Service Director

Facility: Atrium Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing
Shift: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $21–$24 per hour

Atrium Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Food Service Director to lead our food service team! As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the food services department, ensuring compliance with all health standards, and providing exceptional meals for our residents.

• Leadership & Oversight: Manage and supervise the daily operations of the food service department, ensuring high-quality service for residents.
• Menu Planning: Develop and update menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents, including therapeutic and special diets.
• Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise food service staff; conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Safety & Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Compliance: Ensure the food services department is compliant with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Budgeting & Inventory: Oversee budgeting for food costs and supplies, and ensure proper inventory management.
• Resident Interaction: Address resident dietary concerns and ensure their needs and preferences are met.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Administrator on food service operations, including any recommendations for improvements.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Certification: CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) certification required.
• Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
• Knowledge: Proficiency in dietary guidelines, therapeutic diets, and food safety regulations.
