Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership Collaboration: Partner with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing to oversee daily operations and uphold care standards.
- Staff Guidance: Mentor nursing staff to ensure they adhere to job expectations and deliver outstanding care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Assist with facility surveys and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular rounds to maintain high standards of nursing care.
Qualifications:
- RN License: Must hold a valid RN license in New York State.
- Experience: At least 2 years of nursing experience in Long-Term Care, with a preference for managerial experience.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven skills in leading and motivating a nursing team.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration and patient care.
