As the accountant you will assist with a wide range of duties, including analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and learning about various accounting activities. Accounting Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements for the various Atrium Centers
- Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation
- Updating financial records via accounting software
- Maintaining accounts payable, ensure the timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate signatures
- Analyzing financial statements and prepare balance sheets
- Preparing quarterly budget under the purview of senior management
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1-2 years within corporate accounting setting
- Previous experience in an accounting or financial role; preferred
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to be a team player
