Job Summary
The ideal candidate will perform all aspects of direct respiratory care according to physician's orders and/or approved protocols. This includes consulting with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy and making appropriate recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides appropriate ventilator support and maintains and monitors other cardiopulmonary life support equipment.
- Maintains and properly utilizes respiratory care equipment.
Requirements
- State License Requirements: North Carolina Respiratory Care License is required.
- Must have experience in critical care settings.
Additional Details
This role requires repetitive physical activity, including walking and standing to perform duties. The ability to lift materials 20-50 pounds and move patients of all age groups is also necessary. Adequate hearing and eyesight are required, as well as exposure to working environments that may include odors, low lighting, and crowded conditions.
