About the Role
Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to fill an Orthopedics Assistant position. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care under the direct supervision and control of the Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
- Support patients with activities of daily living, such as vital signs, height/weight measurements, and glucose monitoring.
- Transport patients on wheelchairs, stretchers, beds, etc., including trips to other units as needed.
- Place electrodes for cardiac, respiratory, and/or fetal monitoring.
- Provide post-mortem care.
- Maintain room cleanliness and orderliness.
- Instruct patients and families on proper safety measures.
- Assist with clerical work as needed.
- Maintain stock supplies in the room.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- CNA certification or patient care experience preferred.
