Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty : Intensive Care Unit
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 7p-7a
Guaranteed Hours : 36.00 per week
Experience : 2 years of experience, ICU experience preferred
License : Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in your work and reside state; National License Compact (NLC) state license acceptable.
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Must-Have : Ability to work in a culturally diverse and inclusive environment, navy blue scrub color
Job Description :
- Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation.
- Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with any applicable legal or policy parameters or principles.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare consumers and other key stakeholders in the conduct of nursing practice.
- Demonstrate leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
- Seek knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice and promotes futuristic thinking.

- The role requires physical activities including walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support 35 pounds for handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient and / or unit conditions.
- Communicate in good, understandable English terms and demonstrate critical thinking and concentration abilities.
