Wake Forest Emergency Providers Physicians will work at Atrium Health Lake Norman Emergency Department, Atrium Health's newest state of the art technology hospital coming in Summer of 2025. To learn more click here Atrium Health Lake Norman News .
Location:
Atrium Health Lake Norman will be located at the southwest corner of the intersections of Westmoreland Rd. and State Highway 21 in Cornelius, North Carolina. Cornelius is located along Lake Norman in northern Mecklenburg County. The beautiful Piedmont region of North Carolina has a moderate climate with all four seasons and a cost of living well below the national average. The Blue Ridge Mountains and Parkway are a 1-2 hour drive to the north and west, and North Carolina's beaches are close enough to enjoy during long weekends. The region is on an upward trajectory that still maintains its Southern roots and small-town feel. Although the region is traditionally Southern in its friendliness, it has an international vibe with an array of festivals and a wide variety of restaurants and entertainment options.
