Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of a specialized training program, working under the direction of leadership. Supports the coordination of schedules and organizational needs, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Tracks program expenses and maintains budget oversight. Requires proficiency with Microsoft products and the ability to review policies and follow procedures effectively. Must communicate effectively with medical professionals and collaborate across various settings with preceptors and key stakeholders. Plays a key role in event planning and program coordination. Requires a high degree of initiative, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering internal and external relationships to support program success. Travel will be required between the Wake and Charlotte areas with oversight of two fellowship tracks in addition to remote work.
Education/Experience
Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field with two years’ experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Functions
- Coordinates fellowship programs.
- Maintains and monitors ACGME Accreditation and GME requirements.
- Maintains the ERAS database (Electronic Residency Application System) and oversees its processes during recruitment season. Maintains application chart for fellowships.
- Responsible for final phase of fellow selection process by preparing rank list with direct submission to the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for fellowships.
- Assembles new fellow training files, coordinates new fellow GME personnel forms, and assists with financial duties such as tracking accounts, producing financial reports, and providing budget preparation support.
- Schedules and arranges activities to ensure availability and makes complex travel arrangements when necessary.
- Creates and maintains accurate files.
- Facilitates departmental work by providing specialized administrative support to faculty and departmental communication.
- Assists with departmental processes and programs by following established work procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Maintains cooperative working relationships and an open line of communication with other departments and members of the Medical Center.
- Resolves problems to improve customer service.
- Excellent oral, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills
- Expert in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
- Detail-oriented
- Clean, well-lit, comfortable, office environment
- Travel between Winston-Salem and Charlotte
