The Ohio Regional Nurse is responsible for maintaining excellent care standards, in collaboration with facility administration, to meet the needs of residents, families and governing agencies.
Responsibilities :
Assess, evaluate, and provide direct care / related services for residents in accordance with their care plan
Develop monitoring reports for regulatory compliance, Quality Assurance and MDS purposes
Responsible for training and development of nursing leadership at the facilities. This requires a detailed orientation for new Director of Nurses at each facility
Assist facilities in the correction of deficiencies and / or sub-standard performance, relative to Company Quality Assurance Standards
Administer medications and complete treatments based on residents' needs
Collaborates and communicates with consultants, corporate staff, Administrators, DONs, and facility staff to promote quality of care
Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants
QUALIFICATIONS :
A passion for caring for and improving the lives of our residents
Current RN License
Ability to Administer Medication
Ability to travel between buildings
Recent clinical experience specialty skills in geriatrics preferred
Good Working knowledge of State Rules / Regulations
Positive Can-Do Attitude
Excellent Attendance
