AP/AR Specialist

They are now looking to add a detail-oriented AP / AR Specialist to their team in Somerset, NJ.

Salary / Hourly Rate :

22-$30 per hour, depending on experience.

Position Overview :

The AP / AR Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by efficiently managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks while working effectively within a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling both payables and receivables. Responsibilities for the AP / AR Specialist :

• Review and process vendor invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile statements from vendors and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Process incoming payments, including credit card transactions and bank transfers.
• Issue customer invoices and ensure accuracy in billing.
• Reconcile customer payments and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist in providing documentation for audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
