Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our client's dynamic Finance team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, accounting, and regulatory compliance functions within the investment banking division. The ideal candidate for the Controller role will possess a strong background in financial management, a keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities of the Controller :

• Financial Reporting : Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Accounting Oversight : Lead the accounting team in maintaining accurate and complete financial records. Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Coordinate the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasts. Analyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendations.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure the company adheres to all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Internal Controls : Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
• Financial Analysis : Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Provide insights on financial performance, trends, and potential risks.
• Team Leadership : Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and

high-performance work environment.
