Client Overview :

Salary / Hourly Rate :

27.50 / hr

Position Overview :

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing excellent customer service. This includes handling inquiries, resolving complaints, processing orders, and providing information. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative :

  • Respond to Customer Inquiries : Handle incoming calls, emails, and chat messages from customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Resolve Customer Complaints : Address customer complaints and issues, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Process Orders : Take orders over the phone or online, enter orders into the system, and ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Provide Product Information : Offer detailed information about products and services, including pricing, availability, and features.
  • Maintain Customer Records : Update and maintain customer records in the database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Follow Company Policies : Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Continuous Improvement : Participate in training and development opportunities to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.

Required Experience / Skills for the Customer Service Representative :

  • Proficient in Google Suite - Documents, Sheets, Forms, and Gmail.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Preferred Experience / Skills for Customer Service Representative :

  • Experience : Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills :
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using computers and customer service software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Personal Attributes :
  • Positive attitude and a team player.

  • Empathetic and patient with customers.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Education Requirements :

  • High school diploma is required.
