Salary / Hourly Rate :

27 / hr - $35 / hr

Position Overview :

This organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic (1st shift) to join their team. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring successful operation while controlling downtime. The Maintenance Mechanic should have a background in manufacturing environments with knowledge of various machines and tools, both mechanical and electrical.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Mechanic (1st shift) :

• Oversee equipment, parts, and supply inventories by monitoring stock levels, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying deliveries.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues by observing equipment in use, listening for irregularities, and employing specialized tools for precise diagnostics.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on machinery, production machines, and conveyor systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Support a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols and maintaining organization within the workspace.
• Educate production teams on preventive maintenance methods and ensure proper adherence to reduce downtime.
• Disassemble malfunctioning equipment to replace faulty parts, using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and inspecting parts for damage.
• Follow all GMP, SOP, and safety guidelines consistently in daily tasks.
• Participate in required training sessions related to safety, GMP, and other company programs.
