Position Overview :
The Sustainability Specialist will play a critical role in managing compliance and reporting, coordinating cross-departmental sustainability initiatives, and driving efforts to enhance the company's environmental impact. This position involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to address key sustainability priorities, including deforestation, responsible sourcing, carbon emissions reduction, eco-design packaging, and retailer compliance.
Responsibilities of the Sustainability Specialist :
- Prepare annual Group extra-financial reports by compiling cross-departmental data and ensuring alignment with group objectives.
- Summarize new regulatory requirements and provide updates to the SVP of Operations.
- Coordinate the implementation of the sustainability roadmap with internal teams.
- Serve as the primary contact for third-party NGOs to evaluate sourcing practices, analyze reports, and recommend improvements for key ingredients.
- Support the execution of the carbon emissions reduction plan in line with group objectives.
- Track eco-design progress, establish KPIs, and ensure alignment with brand and group sustainability goals.
- Collaborate with marketing to meet sustainability requirements set by retailers.
