Receiving Inspector (LSS Chicago)

The Receiving Inspector will support the goals of Quality Inspection through analysis of incoming materials, fabricated parts, and spare part orders including documentation reviews and generation of related reports and administrative duties. This role will also support in-house qualifications of metrology tools.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :

• Prepare / stage for incoming inspections based on requisition reports and related prints.
• Inspect materials and related documentation to ensure quality and adherence to prints / orders
• Document inspections and / or purchased part related documentation reviews
• Facilitate the creation and distribution of non-conforming material reports as needed.
• Support collection of data related to material and product conformity, supplier performance, and / or other related quality metrics.
• Monitor measurement tool stability through validation / qualification of tools used in inspection and the shop floor.
• Assist inspection with support, consultation, and direction to shop floor, service and project manager’s relative to quality.
• Support and participate in continual improvement activities and programs related to quality and business objectives.
• Assist with maintenance and continuous improvement of the quality system through training and communications.
• Comply with all ATS Company policies and QMS standards.
