Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling products according to specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the assembly process. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment.
Duties
- Assemble components and parts using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as needed.
- Follow assembly line procedures to ensure timely production of quality products.
- Fabricate parts as required to meet assembly specifications.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to transport materials within the manufacturing facility.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an assembly line or manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot basic issues with assembled products.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed throughout the shift.
