Overview:
The Chaplain will serve in a free-standing Hospice associated with a 260-bed community hospital. This full-time position (40 hours/week) involves varied shifts. The Chaplain provides comprehensive spiritual support, counseling, and advocacy for patients, families, and staff. Responsibilities also include educational sessions on topics such as Advanced Directives, ethics, spirituality/religion, and bereavement. Relocation assistance is negotiable.
Requirements:
To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Divinity or a related field.
- Certification: Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and Board Certification as a Chaplain.
- License: Valid Ohio driver’s license with proof of liability insurance.
