Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining and interpreting cellular samples to identify abnormalities, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Duties
- Prepare and process cytological specimens from various sources, including body fluids and tissue samples.
- Perform microscopic examinations of samples to detect cellular changes indicative of disease.
- Conduct laboratory tests and procedures, including blood sampling and venipuncture.
- Utilize techniques such as DNA isolation and immunoassays to support diagnostic processes.
- Participate in clinical trials by collecting data and analyzing results.
- Maintain accurate records of findings and prepare reports for pathologists.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Assist in laboratory management tasks, including inventory control and equipment maintenance.
Skills
- Proficiency in clinical trials methodologies and data analysis skills.
- Experience with laboratory techniques such as ELISA, blood sampling, venipuncture, and vital signs assessment.
