Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for monitoring critically ill patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs and laboratory results.
- Administer medications and IV infusions as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, catheterization, and gastric lavage when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in emergency response situations, providing urgent care as needed.
- Support patients undergoing esthetic laser treatments or those receiving hospice palliative medicine as required.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to critical care settings.
- Experience in internal medicine practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with urgent care protocols and ambulatory surgery center procedures is advantageous.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles to support patients with mental health needs.
- Ability to perform IV infusion techniques competently and safely.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Critical thinking skills to assess complex situations and make informed decisions quickly.

Pay: $63.57 - $70.03 per hour
