Responsibilities
- Perform various laboratory tests, including blood sampling and DNA isolation, using aseptic techniques to ensure sample integrity.
- Conduct venipuncture procedures to collect blood samples from patients with precision and care.
- Analyze data generated from laboratory tests, ensuring accurate interpretation and reporting of results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss test results and contribute to patient care decisions.
- Implement quality control measures to uphold the accuracy of laboratory processes.
- Manage laboratory workflows efficiently to optimize productivity while maintaining high standards of quality.
Skills
- Proficient in aseptic technique and blood sampling methods.
- Strong data analysis skills with attention to detail for accurate result interpretation.
- Knowledge of physiology and its application in a laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with flow cytometry (CT) techniques is a plus.
- Experience in laboratory management practices, including inventory control and equipment maintenance.
- Competence in data management systems for tracking test results and patient information.
