Department Description:
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides specialized care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but present an elevated risk for instability. Care in the PCU involves advanced monitoring, thorough assessments, and timely interventions delivered through a team of highly trained professionals.
Qualifications:
- Licensure:
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license (required upon submission).
- Certifications:
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification (required).
- AHA ACLS certification (required for GSR PCU 2S).
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required for GSR PCU 2S).
- Experience:
- Minimum of six (6) months RN experience in Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or a related area (required).
- PCU and basic EKG experience (preferred).
- Education Verification:
- High school diploma or equivalent verification is required due to College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for acutely ill individuals at moderate risk for instability.
- Conduct advanced monitoring and assessments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform necessary interventions in alignment with clinical protocols.

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
