Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Analyst to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure, ensuring robust network security, and supporting the overall IT architecture. This role requires a strong understanding of various networking technologies and protocols, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.
- Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.
- Configure and troubleshoot IP networking, DHCP, Ethernet, and other related protocols.
- Utilize tools such as Ansible for automation of network tasks and configurations.
- Conduct regular assessments of the IT infrastructure to identify areas for improvement or upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network architecture solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop scripts using Python to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency in network management.
- Respond to incidents related to network performance or security breaches, providing timely resolutions.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures for future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience in network analysis or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and their integration with existing networks.
- Familiarity with Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and other security tools.
- Proficiency in IP networking concepts, including subnetting, routing protocols, and switching technologies.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of DHCP configuration and management.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Python for automation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network ) are a plus.
