Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort during critical situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients in emergency situations.
- Perform rapid assessment, triage, and treatment of patients presenting with diverse medical conditions and injuries.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products in accordance with protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and defibrillators.
- Document all care activities and assessments accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical moments.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and TJC guidelines.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle high-stress situations while ensuring safety and quality care.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice (California license preferred).
- BLS Certification, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC .
- 1-2 years of Emergency Room experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in EMR systems (EPIC and Cerner experience preferred).
