Job Overview

Duties

- Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing immediate challenges or emergencies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations to coordinate care and resources.
- Offer support in navigating Medicare and other benefits systems as needed.
- Assist clients with childcare resources and programs when applicable.
- Implement crisis management strategies to address potential risks and ensure client safety.
- Provide addiction counseling and behavioral health support as required.
- Facilitate access to housing assistance programs such as Section 8 for eligible clients.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience in case management or a related field. Ideal qualifications include:
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques.
- Experience in crisis intervention and management.
- Knowledge of Medicare processes and regulations.
- Background in childcare support services.
- Familiarity with addiction counseling practices.
