Your Role:
As an Instructional Design & Academic Technology Specialist, you will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to create engaging, tech-enhanced learning experiences. You will develop instructional materials, integrate technology into coursework, and provide hands-on IT support to ensure seamless academic delivery. Your expertise will drive innovation in hybrid learning, making education more accessible and effective.
- Instructional Design & Faculty Support: Collaborate with faculty to design engaging, student-centered course materials that integrate best practices in digital learning, multimedia, and instructional technology.
- Technology Integration & Training: Lead interactive training workshops to help faculty and students effectively use educational technology, learning platforms, and digital tools. Stay up to date on emerging ed-tech trends and recommend innovative solutions to enhance student learning.
- Technical Support & Optimization: Provide hands-on IT assistance for classrooms, labs, and distance learning environments. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues, ensure proper AV equipment functionality, and manage learning management systems to optimize academic operations.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Analyze student engagement data to improve course effectiveness, retention, and learning outcomes. Recommend new instructional strategies, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance the educational experience.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- A minimum of an Bachelor's degree in computer science, instructional design, or related field is required.
- At least two years of experience in customer service and technology support.
- Collection of work samples representing experience in instructional design in creating and developing online courses delivered via an Learning Management System (LMS)
