Your Role
As a Full-Time Nursing Instructor, you will deliver engaging, student-centered instruction, preparing future nurses to meet clinical requirements, excel in hands-on practice, and pass the NCLEX-PN exam. Through mentorship and guidance, you will help students build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and transition seamlessly into professional nursing roles. Beyond teaching, you’ll provide personalized support and remediation, ensuring every student has the resources and encouragement to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Engaging Instruction & Student-Centered Learning – Deliver dynamic, learning-centered instruction that fosters an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, encouraging active participation and student engagement.
- NCLEX Preparation & Skill Development – Equip students with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and clinical competence needed to meet lab and clinical requirements, excel in real-world nursing settings, and successfully pass the NCLEX-PN exam.
- Individualized Student Support & Remediation – Assess student strengths and areas for growth, developing tailored remediation plans to enhance confidence, competency, and exam readiness.
- Collaboration & Professional Development – Work closely with course instructors, lab, and clinical faculty to ensure consistency in teaching and learning, while staying current with nursing practices and innovative teaching methodologies through continuous professional development.

What You Need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Nursing is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, with recent clinical practice experience and/or teaching experience.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Illinois.
- A passion for education and the ability to connect with a diverse group of students.
