Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with daily activities, including ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Provide first aid and emergency care when needed.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, or social outings.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices.
- Familiarity with resident rights and regulations in a care setting.
- Ability to work with individuals of different age groups, including children and adults.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature.
