What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Developer position at ATTAINX INC?
AttainX is seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our dynamic software development team. In this entry-level role, you will leverage your foundational knowledge in software development, including Java, Python, SQL, Node.js, and React, to support and enhance our technical projects. You will have the opportunity to grow under the mentorship of senior developers and participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional software development or relevant internship experience.
- Familiarity with at least two programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript preferred).
- Understanding of relational databases (SQL) and basic query writing.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, Docker.
- Certification in cloud platforms or related technologies.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in Java, Python, Node.js, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Support the integration of APIs and databases, including SQL and NoSQL solutions.
- Contribute to designing and building UI/UX interfaces ensuring responsive and user-friendly applications.
- Perform testing (manual and automated), debugging, and troubleshooting of applications.
- Document technical designs, workflows, and development processes.
- Collaborate effectively within Agile teams, including participation in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of software solutions across various platforms (Salesforce, AWS, Azure).
