Title : Structural Engineering Document Review Support
Location : This position is located at the Hanford Field Office (HFO) and the Hanford Site in Richland, WA, and is remote eligible. If in-person support is identified as required for any reason and for any length of time by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Technical Monitor (TM) or Contracting Officer (CO), the contractor shall report for duty in-person as requested.
Clearance : Public Trust; must be a U.S. citizen
Compensation : $68,000.00 - $119,000.00 for part-time work; compensation determined by years of relevant experience, licensing and / or certifications and skill set.

AttainX is seeking a licensed structural engineer to support the Office of the Assistant Manager for Safety and Environment (AMSE) at DOE. This subject matter expert (SME) will perform external independent reviews of critical structural engineering work activities. The purpose of the review is to ensure structural engineering work activities are planned and executed in a manner that ensures worker safety and compliance with codes and standards plus encourages worker productivity.
Minimum Qualifications Required :
- Licensed structural engineer in any state or territory of the U.S.
- 15 years of experience with nuclear facilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled at critical thinking, problem identification and resolution.
