Attalla Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in floor care, custodial services, and commercial cleaning. If you have a keen eye for detail and take pride in maintaining a clean environment, we want to hear from you. Our Floor Technicians are responsible for cleaning resident rooms and other interior and exterior facility areas under the supervision of a designated supervisor and to assist in maintaining positive physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.
Position Details: 7a-3p
Job Duties:
- Keeps the resident environment clean at all times using standard procedures in cleaning and maintenance of rooms, offices and common areas.
- Clean up spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed.
- Ensures cleaning schedules are followed.
- Ensure that equipment and supply carts and adequate supplies are properly maintained.
- Knowledge of equipment operation.
- Sweep, vacuum, scrub, strip, wax and buff floors.
- Move and replace furniture; assist others in heavy lifting.
- Pull trash in soiled utility rooms, activity rooms and other common areas as directed.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.
- Equipment and supplies are properly stored.
- Ensure Universal Precautions procedures are followed.
