What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Aide position at Attalla Health and Rehab?
Attalla Health & Rehab is seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all linens are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. Our Laundry Aides are also responsible for laundering resident’s clothes in accordance with sanitary procedures under the supervision of the Laundry/Housekeeping or Environmental Supervisor.
Job Duties:
- Ensures laundry schedules are followed.
- Ensure that equipment and adequate supplies are properly maintained.
- Knowledge of equipment operation.
- Keep the environment clean at all times using standard cleaning procedures
- Coordinate daily laundry services with other dept.
- Ensure work areas are safe
- Procedures regarding cleaners or hazardous materials or objects are strictly adhered to. Equipment and supplies are properly stored.
- Report all accidents and incidents.
