Job Description :
As a Registered Nurse (RN) with Attend Home Care, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to our clients, ensuring their health and well-being. Your responsibilities will include :
Patient Assessment : Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, develop and implement care plans, and monitor progress.
Clinical Care : Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed. Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical tasks.
Care Coordination : Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Patient Education : Provide guidance to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and preventative health practices.
Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Supervision & Support : Oversee and provide guidance to nursing assistants and other healthcare staff.
Emergency Response : Respond to changes in patient condition and manage emergencies with appropriate action.
Health Monitoring : Track and document vital signs, lab results, and other important health metrics.
Requirements :
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
Current and valid nursing license in the state of employment.
Previous nursing experience, preferably in home health or a similar setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize care.
Must maintain current CPR / BLS certification.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks required by the role.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
