Description
As a Billing Coordinator your main duties will be:
- Responds to professional staff’s questions and needs.
- Communicates with team members daily.
- Answer telephone, screen and direct calls. Responsible for taking accurate and complete messages and relaying messages in a timely manner.
- Assists in processing OASIS’ to the state and submitting claims.
- Verifies and checks insurances
- Secure authorization for Home Care Services
- Bill claims (Home Care and Auto) and post claim payments
Key Responsibilities
- Review and respond to emails.
- Answer incoming calls related to billing and insurance inquiries.
- Check and verify insurances
- Secure authorizations for home care services
- Bill claims and post payments into Continulink
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Certifications, Registration or Licensure:
- Valid State of Michigan’s Driver’s License and current auto insurance
Knowledge and Education:
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- knowledge of and high comfort level with computers and relevant software applications
- Preferred: Associate’s degree
Experience:
- Minimum of six (6) months’ work experience in a supervised setting

Attendant Care Autism Services was born out of the combination of our parent company’s principles and the need for Autism services in Michigan communities. After initially opening our Autism services branch with in-home services only, we adapted to the needs of our clients and opened our first Autism Centers in mid-2019.
