Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one job coaching, training, and mentorship to individuals with developmental disabilities (DDD).
- Assist clients in identifying career goals, preparing resumes, completing job applications, and practicing interview skills.
- Support individuals in finding suitable job placements that align with their skills, interests, and abilities.
- Develop individualized training plans to teach specific job tasks and expectations.
- Provide on-site job coaching, training, and support to ensure client success and long-term growth in the workplace.
- Maintain consistent communication with employers to monitor job performance and ensure job retention.
- Help individuals navigate workplace challenges, offering encouragement, support, and problem-solving strategies.
- Document progress and maintain accurate client records to track development and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure holistic care and support for individuals.
- Stay updated on best practices, legal requirements, and industry trends to improve job placement outcomes.

Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in job coaching, employment services, or related fields, with a focus on individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, or a related field, or relevant certifications in Job Employment Specialist and Supervision.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge: Understanding of DDD services and the challenges individuals face in obtaining and maintaining employment.
- Ability to: Work independently, be a self-starter, and handle confidential information with professionalism and care.
- License/Certification: CPR, First Aid, Job Coach Certification.
- Preferred: Experience working with local employment agencies or job placement programs.
