As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals who need help with daily living activities due to age, illness, or disability. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our clients maintain their independence and quality of life in a safe and comfortable environment.
- Personal Care : Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Mobility Support : Aid clients in moving around their home or during transport, including assistance with walking, transferring from bed to chair, and using mobility aids.
- Medication Management : Help clients with medication reminders and ensure they follow prescribed medication schedules.
- Household Tasks : Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Companionship : Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversations and activities to enhance their social well-being.
- Health Monitoring : Observe and report any changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
