What are the responsibilities and job description for the CPR and First Aid Instructor position at Attentive Safety CPR and Safety Training?
This part-time position is ideal for a passionate and experienced instructor who enjoys educating and empowering others. Classes are conducted every Saturday, and the position requires a commitment of 4 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver CPR, AED, and First Aid training to students, following curriculum guidelines from the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Health & Safety Institute (HSI).
- Prepare and maintain class materials, including manikins, AED trainers, and student manuals.
- Assess participants' skills to ensure they meet certification standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering participant questions and addressing concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of participant attendance and certifications.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a CPR and First Aid Instructor with AHA, ARC, or HSI (required).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commit to a weekly Saturday schedule.
- Ability to lift and carry training equipment (e.g., manikins, AED trainers).
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
