Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and big-picture thinker eager to contribute to a small firm with a strong commitment to community service. You will engage directly with clients, particularly elder clients, and apply your skills in a supportive and nurturing environment conducive to professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting legal documents and pleadings
• Conducting meetings with clients
• Managing electronic filings
• Representing the firm in various court proceedings
• Overseeing transactional, litigation, social security, and real estate transactions and closings
  
  

Required Skills

• Licensed Attorney in Illinois
• Strong willingness to embrace Elder, Probate, and Estate Planning Law
• Commitment to serving the clientele of our small town with dedication
• Openness to mentorship and adherence to established procedures
• Familiarity with a Mac environment (willingness to learn if not experienced)
  
  

Qualifications

• Newly graduated attorney with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Must have successfully passed the Illinois Bar
