Compensation:
- Base Salary: $200,000
- Total Compensation: $400,000 (including bonuses)
- Bonuses paid quarterly based on achieving quarterly bookings targets.

With innovative technology, they are poised to disrupt traditional approaches and deliver enhanced capabilities to their government partners.
The Role
- Develop and execute the government sales strategy.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders.
- Lead the capture and proposal process for government contracts.
- Play a key role in shaping the company's product roadmap.
- Ensure that its solutions meet the evolving needs of the government market.
- Manage a small team, and eventually be expected to build out the team.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a VP or Director of Government Solutions, Business Development, or Sales, within a space-tech or related technology company.
- Deep understanding of the U.S. government acquisition process, particularly within the DoD and Intelligence Community.
- Specific experience working with the NRO and/or the U.S. Space Force.
- Experience with C2 systems for satellites.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience working with Seed or Series A companies to secure business with government agencies, including familiarity with proposal writing.
- Demonstrated success in closing deals with the U.S. government valued at $10M .
- Personable character with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key government decision-makers.
- Must be able to be based full-time in the Washington, D.C. area.
